SCROLL

Intent, acceleration, and restore — without the dead air.

01

01 · Entry

macOS keeps control until you deliberately start a pulse.

02

02 · Accelerate

FanPulse requests a short maximum-speed boost on a supported Mac.

03

03 · Settle

The pulse ends and fan control is handed back automatically.

Compatibility is deliberately narrow.

FanPulse uses AppleSMC and requires administrator privileges. The project README documents testing on M4 Pro MacBook Pro and Mac mini; other models should be treated as unverified until checked.

Small, inspectable, reversible.

A tiny Swift command-line utility with no daemon and no persistent fan curve. Read the source and compatibility notes before running it on your Mac.
